BEIJING (PingWest) - Chinese state-pwned telecom giant China Mobile today announced its half-year financial results.
The company reported a total revenue of RMB 389.4 billion for the first half of 2019, down 0.6% yoy, and its net income of RMB 56.1 billion, down 14.6%.
The company’s telecom revenue were RMB 351.4 billion, down 1.3% yoy.
Total customers reached 935 million, up 9.98 million. 4G customers increased 21.13% to hit 734 million.
Additionally, China Mobile also announced its progress in 5G that it plans to deploy more than 50,000 base stations and launch 5G commercial networks in more than 50 cities in China.
